Making positive impact on climate change and societal function
Climate change is one of the biggest threats to our planet and everything living on it. It is therefore important that we all contribute to reducing the impact we have on the climate. This can be done by making small adjustments in our daily lives as well as by taking larger-scale actions. This is our plan to make a difference.

Carbon Credits
Established boundaries
Carbon allowances are a type of permit that companies purchase to produce certain amounts of CO2 emissions. This involves a system where a limited number of emission allowances are issued and distributed among the companies active on the market.
Control your emissions
A company that wants to reduce its CO2 emissions can buy carbon credits or certificates to compensate for their emissions. Companies that produce less CO2 emissions than their allowances allow can sell their unused allowances to companies that emit more than allowed.
Bring it back to zero
The idea is to first encourage companies to produce less CO2 emissions and, second, to offset what cannot be reduced through certificates from carbon removal projects.
We're all involved
Carbon allowances are currently mainly issued by governments and international organizations and form an essential part of the international fight against climate change. It is important that companies are held accountable for their share of CO2 emissions and measures are taken to reduce them.
Let's work together
For every ton of carbon removal, one carbon certificate is issued. These certificates can be traded on the mandatory or voluntary market to enable companies to offset their carbon emissions and eventually become net zero.
Contribution to SDGs
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 goals to make the world a better place by 2030. The goals have been agreed by all countries within the United Nations.
2PlaNet Zero aims, among other things, to contribute to the following goals
SDG 7
Affordable and clean energy: Reducing carbon emissions by removal can contribute to reducing dependence on fossil fuels for energy.
SDG 11
Sustainable cities and communities: Carbon removal can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions in cities and thereby contribute to cleaner and more sustainable cities.
SDG 13
Climate action: Carbon removal can contribute to achieving the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement to limit global warming to below 2 degrees Celsius.
SDG 15
Life on land: Carbon removal can contribute to preserving forests and other ecosystems that play an important role in absorbing carbon and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Our Projects
Our current ongoing projects
Portugal
In Portugal we have started a carbon removal project with local farmers and landowners. The goal here is to plant bamboo and miscanthus to remove carbon from the atmosphere. The crops will also be used as a raw material for the industry, which can produce sustainable biobased building materials. The carbon removal project also offers economic benefits to local farmers by creating new jobs and improve the local economy.
Poland
In Poland we have started a carbon removal project with miscanthus together with a local farmer. A carbon removal project is a wonderful initiative to counter the negative effects of climate change.
This project not only has a positive effect on removing carbon from the atmosphere, but also improves biodiversity. We aim to create a microclimate by creating height differences in hedgerows, adding native tree species or crops to prevent monoculture. We also add flowers and install nesting boxes in the surrounding forest.
The miscanthus can also be used as a raw material for the industry, which can produce sustainable biobased building materials. It is very important that the carbon removal project is carried out sustainably, which requires long-term management and maintenance.
Activities
What we do and who we do it for
Growing bamboo for industry
Growing bamboo for industry offers numerous advantages. This fast-growing, sustainable plant can be used for various purposes including furniture, building materials, paper, and textiles. It is no wonder that more and more manufacturers are integrating bamboo into their production processes.
Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world, and some species can grow up to one meter per day. This makes bamboo a highly efficient source of renewable energy for the industry. Bamboo cultivation requires little water and pesticides, making it an environmentally friendly choice.
Another benefit of bamboo is that it has a stronger and more flexible fiber than traditional wood species. This makes it ideal for materials that need to withstand heavy use and wear, such as floorings, furniture, and packaging. Moreover, bamboo is naturally resistant to moisture and fungi, making it a good choice for outdoor use.
All in all, growing bamboo for industry provides numerous benefits for the environment, the economy, and the production of sustainable goods. With the right investments and care, we can harness this renewable source of energy and materials for a more sustainable future.
Carbon removal projects
A carbon removal project is a crucial initiative to address climate change. The goal of our projects is to remove CO2 from the atmosphere and store it in our crops. Once stored carbon can be kept away from the atmosphere for a long time.
CO2 is a greenhouse gas that is released during the combustion of fossil fuels such as oil, gas, and coal. This gas contributes to global warming, which is causing climate change and rising sea levels. It is therefore crucial that we reduce carbon emissions while also increasing its removal.
The carbon removal project is not only significant in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, but it also provides opportunities for the development of new sustainable technologies and materials. Bamboo, for instance, can be used for paper, furniture, clothing, and building materials.
In a time when climate change is becoming more severe, it is crucial that we further develop and apply this method of carbon removal in our society. The carbon removal project can make a significant contribution to capturing CO2 emissions, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and protecting our planet.
About Us
Who we are and what we aim for
2PlaNet Zero aims to collaborate with European landowners to plant crops for carbon farming that allow other companies to reduce or achieve their net-zero carbon claim.
2PlaNet Zero is an organization that wants to contribute to improving climate change. The team consists of several professionals with a strong passion for the environment and crops. Through their carbon removal projects, they are empowered. Working with local farmers and other stakeholders, they want to utilize their knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for climate improvement. And ultimately, achieving the goal of Planet Zero (emissions).
Our mission and vision
Ambition and innovation
The vision for carbon removal projects is to reduce CO2 emissions and mitigate global warming. It is an ambitious project focused on the use of innovative technologies to reduce the amount of carbon emitted by factories, cars, and other sources.
Impacting climate change
One of the main goals of the carbon removal project is to reduce the negative impact of climate change by actively reducing CO2 emissions. The project aims to work on various fronts, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions, promoting renewable energy sources, and stimulating the development of carbon capture and storage technologies.
Combat global warming
Through these scientific discoveries and innovative ideas, the carbon removal project aims to decrease global carbon emissions and combat global warming. The project focuses on various sectors, including industry, transportation, and agriculture.
Preserving the planet
The project is crucial for preserving our planet and its inhabitants and will help us maintain a livable planet for future generations. By working together and pooling resources and knowledge, the carbon removal project can make a powerful contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
